Bobcats edge Wizards

Stephen Jackson drained 22 points to lift the Charlotte Bobcats past the Washington Wizards 94-92 on Tuesday night.

Charlotte couldn't cover as 8.5-point home favorites, while the game played UNDER the 189-point total set by sportsbooks.

Gerald Wallace added 17 points and 13 rebounds for the Bobcats, who got 16 points from both Boris Diaw and reserve Flip Murray in the win.

Caron Butler had 23 points and eight assists for Washington, while Mike Miller went for 19 points and six boards for the Wizards.
