Russell Westbrook went off for 31 points and added 5 rebounds leading Oklahoma City to a 109-103 win over Philadelphia on Wednesday at Ford Center.
Oklahoma City did not, however, defeat the 76ers against the spread, which closed at 8.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 201.5.
Oklahoma City got 31 points from Kevin Durant and another 12 points from Serge Ibaka. Russell Westbrook contributed 12 assists, while Serge Ibaka cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Philadelphia got 17 points from Elton Brand in a losing cause and another 17 points from Jrue Holiday. Jrue Holiday contributed 11 assists for the 76ers, while Elton Brand had 9 rebounds.
Oklahoma City led at halftime, 59-51.
Philadelphia had a 37-34 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Oklahoma City takes its act home to face Portland looking for another win. For Philadelphia, they head on the road to face Dallas.
