Hornets sting lowly Timberwolves

Chris Paul netted 16 points and dished out 15 assists as the New Orleans Hornets defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 98-89 Friday night.

New Orleans failed to cover the 10-point spread, while the 187 points went UNDER the posted total of 199.5.

Devin Brown collected 19 points for the Hornets, while Emeka Okafor and David West had 17 points apiece in the win.

Al Jefferson had 20 points and 14 rebounds for a double-double in the loss for the Timberwolves.
