The Bulls got a 15-point performance from Luol Deng, who was supported by 13 points from Joakim Noah. Derrick Rose had 12 assists in a losing cause for Chicago, while Joakim Noah grabbed 12 rebounds.
The Hawks hit the break trailing 50-33 before taking care of business in the second half.
Chicago had a 43-37 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Atlanta takes its act home to face Oklahoma City looking for another win. For Chicago, they head on the road to face Orlando.
