Chicago vs Cleveland Wrap - Chicago Wins 112-91
The battle between the Bulls and Cavaliers didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Cleveland was handed a 112-91 defeat on Friday at Quicken Loans Arena.
Chicago won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 10-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 187.5.
Luol Deng had 24 points for Chicago and Derrick Rose chipped in with 19 points. Derrick Rose had 9 assists for the Bulls, while Carlos Boozer was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 11 boards.
Cleveland got 22 points from Antawn Jamison in a losing cause and another 16 points from Ramon Sessions. Ramon Sessions contributed 7 assists for the Cavaliers, while Tristan Thompson had 11 rebounds.
The Bulls hit the break leading 56-44 before taking care of business in the second half.
Chicago won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 41-33.
Next game, Chicago takes its act on the road to face Philadelphia looking for another win. For Cleveland, they head on the road to face Washington.
