Hawks Fall 97-77 Against Portland - Game Recap

The battle between the Trail Blazers and Hawks didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Atlanta was handed a 97-77 defeat on Saturday at Rose Garden.

Portland was the ATS victor, as they covered the 5.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 182.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Portland got 22 points from Nicolas Batum and another 19 points from LaMarcus Aldridge. Raymond Felton contributed 8 assists, while LaMarcus Aldridge cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.

Atlanta got 19 points from Joe Johnson in a losing cause and another 17 points from Willie Green. Josh Smith contributed 9 assists for the Hawks, while Zaza Pachulia had 10 rebounds.

The Trail Blazers hit the break leading 52-37 before taking care of business in the second half.

Portland won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 50-27.

Next game, Portland takes its act on the road to face Los Angeles looking for another win. For Atlanta, they head on the road to face Chicago.
