The Nuggets got a 20-point performance from Danilo Gallinari, who was supported by 16 points from Ty Lawson. Ty Lawson had 5 assists in a losing cause for Denver, while Kosta Koufos grabbed 12 rebounds.

The Trail Blazers hit the break leading 59-53 before taking care of business in the second half.

Denver won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 42-41.

Portland looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Thunder. The Nuggets will aim to get back on the winning track vs Houston.
