Lakers hold off Pacers
The Los Angeles Lakers were badly outplayed in the fourth quarter, but managed to sneak out a 121-119 victory over the Indiana Pacers Friday night at Staples Center.
Los Angeles failed to cover the 14.5-point spread, while the combined 240 points sailed OVER the posted total of 225.
Kobe Bryant led the way with a game-high 36 points, seven rebounds and 13 assists. Pau Gasol added 21 points, while Andrew Bynum contributed 20 in the win.
Danny Granger had 28 points, while Troy Murphy added 24 and Mike Dunleavy had 22 in a losing effort.
