Los Angeles Defeats Houston 114-106 - Recap

Kobe Bryant went off for 32 points and added 6 rebounds leading Los Angeles to a 114-106 win over Houston on Tuesday at STAPLES Center.

The Lakers earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the 8.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 210.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Los Angeles got 26 points from Pau Gasol and another 20 points from Lamar Odom. Kobe Bryant contributed 11 assists, while Lamar Odom cleaned the glass with 20 rebounds.

Houston got 30 points from Kevin Martin in a losing cause and another 24 points from Luis Scola. Aaron Brooks contributed 8 assists for the Rockets, while Luis Scola had 15 rebounds.

The Lakers hit the break leading 54-48 before taking care of business in the second half.

The rebound battle favored Los Angeles as they grabbed 54 boards, while Houston only had 44.

Los Angeles looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Spurs. The Rockets will aim to get back on the winning track at Utah.
