Timberwolves fend off 76ers

The Minnesota Timberwolves were outplayed in the fourth quarter, but managed to pull out a 102-96 win over the Philadelphia 76ers Wednesday night at the Excel Energy Center.

Minnesota won the game as a 3.5-point underdog, while the 198 points went UNDER the posted total of 196.

Al Jefferson notched 25 points with eight rebounds to lead the Timberwolves.

Andre Miller led the 76ers with 20 points and Elton Brand added 19 in the loss.
