Rockets cruise past Timberwolves

The Houston Rockets got out to a 11 point lead after the first quarter and went on to defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves 112-98 Saturday night.

Houston covered the 4.5-point spread, and the 210 points made it OVER the posted total of 208.

Luis Scola had a double-double with 25 points and 21 rebounds in leading the Rockets. Kevin Martin added a game-high 30 points in the win.

Kevin Love led the Timberwolves with 20 points, and Ryan Gomes netted 17 points with five rebounds in the loss.
