Portland Defeats Minnesota 108-98 - Recap

The Timberwolves were burned for 36 points by Wesley Matthews on Friday as the Trail Blazers picked up a 108-98 win at Target Center.

Portland was a favorite by 2.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 199.5.

Portland got 28 points from LaMarcus Aldridge and another 16 points from Andre Miller. Andre Miller contributed 10 assists, while LaMarcus Aldridge cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.

The Timberwolves got a 30-point performance from Kevin Love, who was supported by 17 points from Michael Beasley. Luke Ridnour had 11 assists in a losing cause for Minnesota, while Kevin Love grabbed 19 rebounds.

First-half bettors who backed Portland were victorious, as the score was 63-43 at the break.

Portland won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 45-36.

Next game, Portland takes its act home to face Miami looking for another win. For Minnesota, they head on the road to face San Antonio.
