Memphis vs Houston Recap - Rockets Win 121-96
The battle between the Rockets and Grizzlies didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Memphis was handed a 121-96 defeat on Saturday at Toyota Center.
Houston was the ATS victor, as they covered the 1.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 196.5 were rewarded at the payout window.
James Harden had 31 points for Houston and Marcus Morris chipped in with 16 points. Jeremy Lin had 11 assists for the Rockets, while Omer Asik was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.
Memphis got 16 points from Mike Conley in a losing cause and another 14 points from Quincy Pondexter. Mike Conley contributed 6 assists for the Grizzlies, while Zach Randolph had 10 rebounds.
Houston led at halftime, 64-54.
Houston won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-37.
Next game, Houston takes its act on the road to face Chicago looking for another win. For Memphis, they head home to face Philadelphia.
