Bulls down Spurs in opener

The Chicago Bulls opened the season with a 92-83 victory over the San Antonio Spurs Thursday night at the United Center.

Chicago won the game as a 3-point underdog, while the combined score went UNDER the posted total of 193.

Luol Deng led the Bulls with 17 points and nine rebounds. Tim Duncan poured in a game-high 28 points to go with 16 rebounds in the loss.
