Stoudemire, Suns stop Spurs

Amare Stoudemire dropped 28 points and hauled down 14 rebounds to lead the Phoenix Suns over the San Antonio Spurs 116-104 on Tuesday night.

Phoenix covered as 1.5-point home favorites, while the teams played OVER the 209.5-point total posted by sportsbooks.

Steve Nash went for 25 points and 13 assists for the Suns, who got 18 points off the bench from Goran Dragic in the win.

Tim Duncan had 34 points and 14 boards for San Antonio, while reserve Roger Mason scored 19 points for the Spurs.
