Wizards dump lowly Timberwolves

Antawn Jamison tossed in a double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds, as the Washington Wizards defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 102-88 at the Verizon Center.

Washington covered the 8.5-point spread, but the 190 points were UNDER the posted total of 196.

Caron Butler also had a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds, and Roger Mason added 17 points for the Wizards.

Craig Smith netted a game-high 36 points with eight rebounds for the Timberwolves in the loss.
