Detroit downs Washington

The newest members of the Detroit Pistons made a big impact, leading the team to a 106-103 win over the Washington Wizards at the Verizon Center Saturday.

Detroit covered as a 3.5-point road underdog while the final score played OVER the 184.5-point total.

Ben Gordon scored 29 points while Charlie Villanueva dropped in 25 for the Pistons.

The Wizards were led by Mike Miller and Earl Boykins 20 points each. Gilbert Arenas chipped in with 19 points.
