Late surge powers Wizards

The Washington Wizards outscored the Denver Nuggets by 19 points in the final quarter, and came away with a 107-97 victory Friday night at the Verizon Center.

Washington won the game as a 6-point underdog, while the 204 points went UNDER the posted total of 209.

Al Thornton had 21 points to go with five rebounds, while Andray Blatche had 18 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double in the win.

Earl Boykins and Nick Young added 12 points apiece in the loss.
