Orlando got 32 points from Dwight Howard en route to a 100-99 victory over Washington on Saturday at Verizon Center.
Orlando did not, however, defeat the Wizards against the spread, which closed at 7 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 194.5.
Orlando got 20 points from Quentin Richardson and another 11 points from Jameer Nelson. Jameer Nelson contributed 4 assists, while Dwight Howard cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
Washington got 31 points from Gilbert Arenas in a losing cause and another 21 points from Nick Young. Gilbert Arenas contributed 5 assists for the Wizards, while Andray Blatche had 13 rebounds.
Orlando led at halftime, 55-43.
Washington won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 47-38.
Next game, Orlando takes its act home to face Detroit looking for another win. For Washington, they head on the road to face Miami.
