Wizards vs Suns Final: 127-105 - Recap
Washington cruised to victory on Saturday, running Phoenix out of the gym and running up a 127-105 score at Verizon Center.
Washington won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 7.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 189.5.
Washington got 34 points from Martell Webster and another 17 points from Emeka Okafor. John Wall contributed 11 assists, while Emeka Okafor cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
The Suns got a 21-point performance from Michael Beasley, who was supported by 16 points from Jared Dudley. Goran Dragic had 11 assists in a losing cause for Phoenix, while Markieff Morris grabbed 9 rebounds.
The Wizards hit the break leading 66-59 before taking care of business in the second half.
Phoenix won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 48-42.
Next game, Washington takes its act on the road to face Charlotte looking for another win. For Phoenix, they head home to face Los Angeles.
