Lakers take stranglehold on Jazz
Kobe Bryant poured in a game-high 35 points to help the Los Angeles Lakers defeat the Utah Jazz 111-110 Saturday night and take a commanding 3-0 lead in their Western Conference semifinal.
The Lakers won the game as 4.5-point underdogs, while the 221 points sailed OVER the posted total of 202.5 set by oddsmakers.
Ron Artest added 20 points, while Pau Gasol collected a double-double with 14 points and 17 rebounds for the Lakers.
Deron Williams had 28 points and dished out nine assists in the loss for the Jazz.
