Utah got 20 points from Mo Williams and another 18 points from Derrick Favors. Mo Williams contributed 9 assists, while Al Jefferson cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Portland got 23 points from Wesley Matthews in a losing cause and another 17 points from Damian Lillard. Eric Maynor contributed 8 assists for the Trail Blazers, while J.J. Hickson had 7 rebounds.
Utah led at halftime, 56-49.
Utah won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 32-30.
Next game, Utah takes its act home to face Denver looking for another win. For Portland, they head home to face Memphis.
