Los Angeles got 14 points from Metta World Peace and another 11 points from Steve Nash. Kobe Bryant contributed 8 assists, while Dwight Howard cleaned the glass with 16 rebounds.
Orlando got 21 points from Jameer Nelson in a losing cause and another 17 points from Arron Afflalo. Jameer Nelson contributed 7 assists for the Magic, while Tobias Harris had 15 rebounds.
The Lakers hit the break leading 50-46 before taking care of business in the second half.
Orlando had a 44-41 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
