Brooklyn vs Sacramento Wrap - Sacramento Wins 107-86
The battle between the Kings and Nets didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Brooklyn was handed a 107-86 defeat on Wednesday at Sleep Train Arena.
The Kings were a 4-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 194.5.
Sacramento got 24 points from Marcus Thornton and another 19 points from Isaiah Thomas. Greivis Vasquez contributed 12 assists, while Jason Thompson cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
Brooklyn got 16 points from Brook Lopez in a losing cause and another 13 points from Deron Williams. Deron Williams contributed 7 assists for the Nets, while Paul Pierce had 9 rebounds.
Sacramento led at halftime, 52-40.
Brooklyn won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 52-50.
Next game, Sacramento takes its act home to face Detroit looking for another win. For Brooklyn, they head on the road to face Phoenix.
