Milwaukee got 17 points from Caron Butler in a losing cause and another 14 points from Ersan Ilyasova. Nate Wolters contributed 5 assists for the Bucks, while Ersan Ilyasova had 11 rebounds.
The Nuggets hit the break leading 50-42 before taking care of business in the second half.
Denver won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 41-36.
Denver heads into a battle against the Bulls. Milwaukee, meanwhile, will have their next action against Indiana.
