Recap - Pacers Defeat Boston 106-79
The battle between the Pacers and Celtics didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Boston was handed a 106-79 defeat on Sunday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The Pacers were a 12-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 190.5.
Indiana got 24 points from Paul George and another 15 points from Roy Hibbert. Lance Stephenson contributed 10 assists, while Roy Hibbert cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Boston got 13 points from Avery Bradley in a losing cause and another 11 points from Jeff Green. Phil Pressey contributed 4 assists for the Celtics, while Jeff Green had 6 rebounds.
Indiana led at halftime, 52-37.
Indiana won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 53-41.
Indiana looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Nets. The Celtics will aim to get back on the winning track vs Cleveland.
