Recap - Thunder Defeat Philadelphia 125-92
The battle between the Thunder and 76ers didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Philadelphia was handed a 125-92 defeat on Tuesday at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
The Thunder were a 21-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 219.5.
Oklahoma City got 42 points from Kevin Durant and another 14 points from Serge Ibaka. Russell Westbrook contributed 14 assists, while Russell Westbrook cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
The 76ers got a 20-point performance from James Anderson, who was supported by 15 points from Byron Mullens. Michael Carter-Williams had 5 assists in a losing cause for Philadelphia, while Jarvis Varnado grabbed 6 rebounds.
The Thunder hit the break leading 61-45 before taking care of business in the second half.
Oklahoma City won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 57-38.
Oklahoma City looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Suns. The 76ers will aim to get back on the winning track vs Utah.
