Minnesota Defeats Milwaukee 112-101 - Recap
Minnesota got 27 points and 10 rebounds from Kevin Love en route to a 112-101 victory over Milwaukee on Tuesday at Target Center.
Minnesota did not, however, defeat the Bucks against the spread, which closed at 15 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 216.5.
Minnesota got 26 points from Kevin Martin and another 19 points from J.J. Barea. Ricky Rubio contributed 10 assists, while Kevin Love cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Milwaukee got 21 points from Brandon Knight in a losing cause and another 14 points from Nate Wolters. Zaza Pachulia contributed 10 assists for the Bucks, while John Henson had 8 rebounds.
The Timberwolves hit the break trailing 61-55 before taking care of business in the second half.
The rebound battle favored Milwaukee as they grabbed 39 boards, while Minnesota only had 34.
Minnesota looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Bobcats. The Bucks will aim to get back on the winning track at Atlanta.
