Northwestern Falls 74-43 Against Purdue - Game Recap

Northwestern was run off the court by Purdue on Sunday as they blasted them 74-43 at Mackey Arena.

Purdue won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 6.5-point spread as favorites.

Terone Johnson had 22 points for Purdue and D.J. Byrd chipped in with 13 points. D.J. Byrd had 5 assists for them, while Rapheal Davis was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.

Northwestern got 9 points from Tre Demps in a losing cause and another 8 points from Reggie Hearn. Alex Marcotullio contributed 4 assists for them, while Reggie Hearn had 6 rebounds.

Purdue hit the break leading 40-25 before taking care of business in the second half.

Purdue won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 48-23.
