Duke Defeats Georgia Tech 79-57 - Recap
The battle between Duke and Georgia Tech didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Georgia Tech was handed a 79-57 defeat on Tuesday at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Duke was a 15.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.
Duke got 27 points from Rodney Hood and another 13 points from Quinn Cook. Quinn Cook contributed 5 assists, while Amile Jefferson cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Georgia Tech got an 18-point performance from Marcus Georges-Hunt, who was supported by 14 points from Daniel Miller. Trae Golden had 4 assists in a losing cause for Georgia Tech, while Daniel Miller grabbed 8 rebounds.
Duke hit the break leading 34-33 before taking care of business in the second half.
Duke won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 33-25.
