BYU Falls 114-110 Against Portland - Game Recap

It sure wasn't going to be a low-scoring affair and Portland made sure they came out on the winning end on Thursday, grabbing a 114-110 victory over BYU at Earle A. Chiles Center.

Portland won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 4.5-point spread as underdogs.

Portland got 27 points from Thomas van der Mars and another 27 points from Bobby Sharp. Kevin Bailey contributed 6 assists, while Thomas van der Mars cleaned the glass with 18 rebounds.

BYU got a 48-point performance from Tyler Haws, who was supported by 25 points from Matt Carlino. Matt Carlino had 9 assists in a losing cause for BYU, while Nate Austin grabbed 15 rebounds.
