The battle between Southern Methodist and Cincinnati didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Cincinnati was handed a 76-55 defeat on Saturday at Moody Coliseum.

Southern Methodist won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 4.5-point spread as favorites.

Southern Methodist got 15 points from Nick Russell and another 15 points from Ben Moore. Markus Kennedy contributed 4 assists, while Sterling Brown cleaned the glass with 5 rebounds.
