Clemson got 24 points from K.J. McDaniels in a losing cause and another 7 points from Damarcus Harrison. Rod Hall contributed 5 assists for them, while K.J. McDaniels had 4 rebounds.
Virginia hit the break leading 31-28 before taking care of business in the second half.
Virginia won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 33-20.
