West Virginia was a 16-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.

West Virginia got 18 points from Eron Harris and another 17 points from Juwan Staten. Juwan Staten contributed 5 assists, while Devin Williams cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.

TCU got 14 points from Karviar Shepherd in a losing cause and another 13 points from Jarvis Ray. Kyan Anderson contributed 3 assists for them, while Jarvis Ray had 13 rebounds.

First-half bettors who backed West Virginia were victorious, as the score was 39-36 at the break.

West Virginia won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 44-29.
