Creighton vs Georgetown Recap - Georgetown Wins 75-63

D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera scored 18 points leading Georgetown to a 75-63 victory over Creighton at Verizon Center on Tuesday.

Georgetown won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 3.5-point spread as underdogs.

Georgetown got 17 points from Markel Starks and another 15 points from Jabril Trawick. Markel Starks contributed 11 assists, while D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.

Creighton got 22 points from Doug McDermott in a losing cause and another 17 points from Grant Gibbs. Devin Brooks contributed 5 assists for them, while Doug McDermott had 12 rebounds.

Georgetown hit the break leading 42-28 before taking care of business in the second half.

The rebound battle favored Georgetown as they grabbed 33 boards, while Creighton only had 30.
