Rutgers Falls 70-66 to Cincinnati - Recap

Cincinnati grabbed a 70-66 win over Rutgers on Saturday, behind a 24-point effort from Sean Kilpatrick at Louis Brown Athletic Center.

Cincinnati won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the 7.5-point spread.

Cincinnati got 10 points from Justin Jackson and another 8 points from Kevin Johnson. Troy Caupain contributed 4 assists, while Justin Jackson cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.

Rutgers got 19 points from J.J. Moore in a losing cause and another 15 points from Kadeem Jack. Myles Mack contributed 9 assists for them, while Kadeem Jack had 12 rebounds.

Cincinnati led at halftime, 35-28.

The rebound battle favored Rutgers as they grabbed 39 boards, while Cincinnati only had 34.
