Diamond Head Classic - Recap - Hawaii Defeats Oregon State 79-73

Hawaii grabbed a 79-73 win over Oregon State on Wednesday, behind a 17-point effort from Isaac Fotu at Stan Sheriff Center.

Hawaii was a 5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.

Garrett Nevels had 16 points for Hawaii and Christian Standhardinger chipped in with 15 points. Keith Shamburger had 10 assists for them, while Brandon Spearman was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.

Oregon State got 24 points from Roberto Nelson in a losing cause and another 13 points from Challe Barton. Devon Collier contributed 3 assists for them, while Devon Collier had 10 rebounds.

Hawaii hit the break leading 40-38 before taking care of business in the second half.

Oregon State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 36-31.
