Riders snap skid; down Bombers
The Saskatchewan Roughriders ended a two-game losing skid with a 19-6 win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Sunday afternoon in the Labour Day Classic at Mosaic Stadium.
Saskatchewan covered the 5-point spread, but the combined 25 points fell well UNDER the posted total of 50.
Michael Bishop completed 10-of-24 for 107 yards and ran for 51 yards with a touchdown in his Riders debut. Lance Frazier intercepted his league-leading fifth pass in the win.
Kevin Glenn threw for 269 yards, but was intercepted twice in a losing effort for the Blue Bombers.
