Eagles hold off late Seminole surge

Florida State scored nine unanswered points in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough as the Seminoles fell to No.22 Boston College 24-19 at Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday.

The Eagles were 7-point underdogs on the road, and the 43 points scored were OVER the posted total of 41.

Matt Ryan was 16-for-26 for 262 yards and an interception, and L.V. Whitworth rushed 18 times for 53 yards and a major for the Eagles.

Drew Weatherford had a busy day, going 32-for-48 for 326 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions, while Chris Davis caught ten passes for 100 yards for the Seminoles.
