Recap - Hurricanes Defeat Duke 28-13

Damien Berry tore up the turf for 111 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Hurricanes to a 28-13 win over the Blue Devils at Wallace Wade Stadium.

Miami did not, however, defeat the Blue Devils against the spread, which closed at 16 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 57.5.

Jacory Harris completed 17 of 34 pass attempts for 224 yards for the Hurricanes in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Jay Hollingsworth rushed for 69 yards for Duke, while Desmond Scott added 34 yards. Sean Renfree threw for 157 yards for the Blue Devils, while receivers Austin Kelly and Donovan Varner had 60 and 50 yards respectively.

The time of possession battle favored Duke as their offense was on the field for 31:56, longer than the 28:04 of their opponents.

Next game, Miami takes its act home to face North Carolina looking for another win. For Duke, they head on the road to face Virginia Tech.
