Recap - Rebels Defeat Tulane 39-0
Mississippi cruised to victory on Saturday, as they ran up a 39-0 score against Tulane in Week 4 action at Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Mississippi won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 17.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 53.5.
Bo Wallace completed 7 of 16 pass attempts for 101 yards for the Rebels in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Rob Kelley rushed for 33 yards for Tulane, while Derrick Strozier added 10 yards. Devin Powell threw for 145 yards for the Green Wave, while receivers Ryan Grant and Wilson Van Hooser had 55 and 23 yards respectively.
Tulane lost the offensive yardage battle to Mississippi 450-159 yards in Saturday's game. Mississippi had more first downs as that total ended up 25-14.
The time of possession battle favored Tulane as their offense was on the field for 33:50, longer than the 26:10 of their opponents.
Next game, Mississippi takes its act on the road to face Alabama looking for another win. For Tulane, they head home to face Louisiana-Monroe.
