Cavaliers rout Panthers
The Virginia Cavaliers outscored Pittsburgh 27-0 in the first quarter in Week 5, cruising to a 44-14 win over the Panthers at Scott Stadium.
The Cavaliers covered the 6.5-point home spread, and the 58 points scored were OVER the posted total of 40.5.
Jameel Sewell was 16-for-31 for 169 yards and three touchdowns, and Cedric Peerman ran for 87 yards and two majors on 24 carries for the Cavaliers.
Pat Bostick went 18-for-31 for 181 yards, one touchdown and one interception, while Lesean Mccoy rushed for 86 yards and a score on 19 carries for the Panthers.
