Kain Colter scampered through the Eastern Illinois defense for 109 yards as Northwestern handed the Panthers a 42-21 defeat on Saturday at Ryan Field.

Eastern Illinois was outgained by Northwestern 437-341 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 27-13 by the Wildcats.
