Freshman Bernard Pierce ran for 129 yards and two touchdowns, and Jaiquawn Jarrett grabbed two interceptions and recovered a fumble in the Temple Owl’s 24-19 win over the Ball State Cardinals on Saturday afternoon.

The Owls failed to cover the 14.5-point spread, while the final score played UNDER the posted total of 46.5.
