Spartans upset Boilermakers

Michigan State won the game as a 4.5-point underdog, while the combined 79 points sailed OVER the posted total of 58.
Brian Hoyer threw two TD passes, while completing 23-of-32 passes for 271 yards and rushed for a touchdown in the win.
Curtis Painter completed 29-of-45 passes for 347 yards with a TD, while rushing for a pair in the loss.
