The battle between the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Mississippi State was handed a 38-7 defeat on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Alabama outgained Mississippi State 414-256 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 22-16 by the Crimson Tide.
Mississippi State lost the time of possession battle 34:14/25:46, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
