UCLA denies USC in shocker

The UCLA Bruins shocked USC 13-9 Saturday, denying the Trojans a spot in the national championship game.

UCLA won the game as a 12.5-point underdog and the final score fell well UNDER the game’s posted total of 48.

Patrick Cowan rushed for the only Bruins TD, racking up 55 yards off 11 carries and completed 12-of-21 for 114 yards passing as UCLA snapped a seven-game losing skid to USC.

C.J. Gable rushed for 52 yards and scored the only touchdown for the Trojans as they will now have to settle for the Rose Bowl.
