Joaquin Iglesias had a TD catch in the second overtime frame Saturday to give the Oklahoma Sooners a 37-30 win over the Baylor Bears.
The Sooners, however, fell short of covering the 14-point spread at home in this contest. The combined score went OVER the game’s posted total (40.5).
Sooners QB Rhett Bomar went 24-of-42 for 264 yards in the win, with one touchdown pass and two interceptions. Bomar also ran for a score, and Jacob Gutierrez picked up two rushing touchdowns.
For the Bears, Shawn Bell completed 20-of-44 pass attempts for 229 yards, finding Dominique Zeigler, Jason Smith, and Shaun Rochon in the end zone. Chris Rogers returned a kick for a Baylor score.
