Commodores come back to beat Volunteers

Jay Cutler threw for three touchdowns on Saturday, including a six-yard strike to Earl Bennett with 1:11 remaining in the game to give the Vanderbilt Commodores a 28-24 win over the Tennessee Volunteers.

The Commodores won this game as 10-point underdogs on the road, and improved to 5-6 on the season with the victory. The game’s combined 52 points made it OVER the posted over/under (50).

Cutler finished the game completing 27-of-39 passes for 316 yards, and Marlon White had a pair of touchdown catches for the Commodores. Cassen Jackson-Garrison had 54 yards rushing and TD in the victory.

Arian Foster had a great game for the Volunteers, rushing for 223 yards and pair of touchdowns on 40 carries. Rick Clausen completed 11-of-25 passes for 129 yards and a touchdown, and was picked off twice in the loss.
