Aaron Murray completed 15 of 25 pass attempts for 227 yards for the Bulldogs in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Marlin Lane rushed for 8 yards for Tennessee, while Tauren Poole added 7 yards. Tyler Bray threw for 251 yards for the Volunteers, while receivers Mychal Rivera and Marlin Lane had 85 and 84 yards respectively.
Tennessee was outgained by Georgia 366-270 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 20-17 by the Bulldogs.
The time of possession battle favored Georgia as their offense was on the field for 33:43, longer than the 26:17 of their opponents.
Georgia looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Vanderbilt. Tennessee will aim to get back on the winning track vs LSU.
